How many of you can say you WANT to go to work on your day off? Honestly, who has that kind of job? That kind of time? Or that kind of boss that you would want to be around on your day off?
I will tell you who:
This is Jimmy's Tavern, located in Pueblo West, Colorado and this is where you will find a job where you want to go to on your day off.
Picture it: Sunday afternoon, Broncos play the Raiders. What better place to be than a bar watching the game.
Meet Karen: Karen is one of the best bartenders. When she is behind the bar you are her number one priority.
BUT...when Karen has a day off AND the Broncos play the Raiders.....her number one priority is cheering on the Broncos!! (I still watched her take care of the customers)

We all have that one place where we can get away....where we are always welcome. A place where we have no worries...only good times. No thoughts of the boss, no thoughts of the responsibility if you are the boss, no children, no bills....just a place where everyone is glad you came. Click here
It is normal that at home.....not everything is perfect. At home there are things that you do wrong. A friend of mine talked about how her husband told her one day that she didn't load the dishwasher right. (He regretted that because she stepped back and said please show me....and while he was "showing" her she left him to do it.....for a month) Another friend told me her husband complained about how she ate her taco....she ate her taco wrong.
It is also normal that when you have children.....nothing is normal. Some days you just scratch your head and wonder who these little "angel" are.
AND...the most normal thing is looking at the clock waiting for quitting time. The afternoon moves so slowly.
You have to find your escape. Some escape in a world of books where you can go anywhere, be anybody you want. Some go shopping. Some go workout. Some head to their local tavern where "everyone is the same" and where everyone knows your name.
No matter what you do.....just do it. Escape from the world and go where everyone is glad you came.

The staff is friendly, the owner is wonderful and the customers....they are the best.
